Introducing The New Ceramic Coating King: Ceramic Pro ION

The future of surface protection is here!

Seriously, I am really excited to introduce you to our latest offering, Ceramic Pro ION®.

Ceramic Pro ION is set to revolutionize the automotive paint protection industry in 2023 and beyond. There’s no doubt about that!

What Is Ceramic Pro ION?

What sets apart a ceramic coating from inferior paint protectants such as wax is its ability to form covalent chemical bonds, the strongest bond known to man. This is a chemical process in which electrons are exchanged between atoms, resulting in a permanent bond. During the application of the coating, the functional groups on the ceramic nanoparticles react with the atoms of the paint. The result is a ceramic-like protective membrane that will not break down or release from the surface.

Ceramic Pro ION builds on the immense success of nanoceramic coating technology and now integrates ION Exchange Technology.

This is the same technology behind today's high-tech glass (which you find on smartphones) and ensures it withstands all the battering of everyday life.

During the ion exchange process, larger ions are pressed into the microscopic imperfections of the paint. The covalent bonds between the coating particles and the paint still form. But this time, they're much stronger and denser.

Here's a scenario that illustrates this concept:

Imagine a triangular billiard rack with 15 billiard balls. You'll find that there's still enough space for the balls to wiggle around. However, if you replace these balls with slightly larger tennis balls, the rack becomes too tightly packed to roll. This is because the surface has become stronger due to the compression of the larger tennis balls.

Similarly, the ION Exchange Technology allows the ceramic coating to form a high-density, more resistant protective shield on the paint surface.

Ceramic Pro ION vs 9H

Ceramic Pro 9H has been the leading ceramic coating on the market for the past couple of years. It is an exemplary product, so it would be disingenuous of me to claim that Ceramic Pro ION wipes the floor with 9H. Nonetheless, there are some notable improvements.

  • ION is stronger than 9H, which makes it possible to achieve superior results with fewer coats.

  • ION has incredibly managed to achieve an even more impressive shine and depth to the paint. One of the beloved attributes of 9H has just gotten better.

  • Abrasion resistance is probably the biggest improvement. Previously, this property was limited to KVA PPF, but Ceramic Pro has somehow managed to incorporate it into a nanoceramic coating.

While Ceramic Pro 9H packages (Bronze to Gold) are available at all Ceramic Pro dealers, Ceramic Pro ION® is a more specialized offering. That’s why Ceramic Pro has limited it to Ceramic Pro® Elite dealers.

VIP Auto Spa/Ceramic Pro Reno is one of these rare accredited companies. We are proud to be one of fewer than 80 such dealers across the country.
