Window Tint 101

To tint or not to tint? That is the question.

What do you think about auto window tinting?

Ask almost anyone about their past experience with car window films and many will probably say "disappointing". 😔 Have you seen those cars with peeling, bubbling, or fading dyed window films? Not only does it look ugly, but the deterioration of these films can affect the driver's visibility, making driving downright dangerous!

Metalized tints are no better. You now have to deal with interference with mobile phone signals, GPS, and radio wave reception. For the modern and tech-savvy motorist, this is a big no-no.

Given all this bad news, it's not surprising that many motorists refrain from installing any form of window film on their vehicles. Well, that was until a new groundbreaking window tint came on the market recently, thanks to nanotechnology. 🎉 This is the same technology that gave us the ceramic coatings we love so much.

If there's anything that has completely revolutionized the way we protect our cars from the elements, it's ceramic nanotechnology. We are glad that it has found its way into the world of auto tinting. Move over, traditional dyed and metallic window films. Now we can have billions of microscopic ceramic particles embedded directly onto the car window.

I could go on all day about the nerdy, scientific aspects of this window film, but I’ll spare you the details. 🤓 Just know if you are trying to keep both yourself and your passengers safe against harmful, cancer-causing UV rays, this is your product.

But here's the thing: Not every window tint that claims to use nanotechnology is created equal. It's sad, but the auto detailing industry is rife with less-than-stellar products that lead car owners people down a path of displeasure. That's why we at VIP Auto Spa only vouch for Ceramic Pro Kavaca IR. This is a product we've tried and tested on our own cars. Only when we were convinced of its reliability and durability did we start offering it to our clients. The response has been fantastic. It's a real game-changer.

Why should you get Kavaca ceramic window film?
Two words: ultimate safety.

  • Ultraviolet radiation of certain wavelengths can easily penetrate the car's factory glazing. Exposure to the sun's harmful UVA /UVB radiation can cause all sorts of problems from premature skin aging to dry eyes to melanoma and other skin cancers.

  • UV radiation is also harmful to the vehicle's interiors. It accelerates the wear and tear of interior surfaces, causing plastics to degrade, leather to crack, and textiles to fade.

  • In the winter, Kavaca technology helps retain warmth inside the vehicle, allowing the heating system to reach a comfortable temperature faster. So Kavaca Ceramic IR is a win-win in both winter and summer!

  • Visible light can also be a threat. Sunlight, glare from the headlights, reflections, and flashing lights, especially on a rainy day, can distract the driver's attention from the road and affect their decisions in fast-evolving traffic situations.

Kavaca IR window film is the remedy for all of these problems, plus it makes your car look amazing! Besides looking great, window tint provides more privacy and can help protect you by preventing people from easily ascertaining what you have in your vehicle.
